Female Sharer required for Kingston-upon-Thames KT1
Available from: 25/1/2020
Kingston upon Thames KT1- 12 min walk from Kingston-upon-Thames train station trains to Waterloo
What the Opportunity entails:
A middle–aged couple, one of whom has early onset dementia, are seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
They would really benefit from some practical help around the house – such as cooking some meals and helping with household chores.
Importantly is to find a Sharer who will be happy to give some friendly company to the person with dementia in order to give his wife some respite and peace-of mind. He is very calm, good-natured and amenable and enjoys and benefits from outings and walks and helping with little jobs and running errands. He also enjoys music and also art. More details on application.
The accommodation on offer is a bright and spacious single bedroom with own wash basin and spacious storage cupboard with hanging rail. There is also use of a private sitting room (except when family guests come to stay) and shared use of the kitchen, garden, bathroom and shower room.
The property is conveniently located in a lovely residential area just 10-15 minutes walk from Kingston Town centre and Kingston Railway Station (direct trains to Waterloo).
The ideal Sharer will be a kind, patient, intuitive, mature, friendly and reliable female, non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests and is practical around a house. Some experience of dementia may be useful.
£150 per month -no pets
