A delightful, Indian elderly gentleman is looking for a second sharer to share his large home and garden, and be happy to give him some companionship and around 10hrs of practical help each week, in exchange for low-cost accommodation.
The accommodation on offer is a good-sized single bedroom, with a shared bathroom. There is also a great shower room on the ground floor.
Ideally the sharer should prepare four suppers with leftovers for lunch the following day. Some cleaning to include home maintenance ie change light bulbs, gardening. The family will reimburse the sharer for any items used to prepare meals. There is a carer that comes in to give the elderly gentleman his breakfast and lunch. The family may ask on the odd occasion if the carer is unavailable to make sure breakfast is available but no personal care required.
As part of his culture, he does not like eating alone and would like someone who enjoys cooking and share four evening meals with him each week. He appreciates food from all over the world as long as it is Halal meat and no Pork! After dinner he is happy to chat or watch TV with you or by himself, but will be happy knowing someone else is around most evenings. This is a no alcohol house
His house is immaculate although he has no cleaner, so he would like someone who is tidy and doesn’t mind helping keep the house clean - just as you would your own home.
There is broadband. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of space and the house is well located with Stations Northfields, Ealing Broadway, West Ealing all a short walk away.
This may suit someone who is working part-time or a mature student studying at home, but certainly someone who is around four evenings each week, and a few hours at the weekends. They will need good communication skills so that they can communicate well with the other sharer and the carer.
