What the Opportunity entails:

A friendly older person with a wide range of interests but reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including some shopping, cooking a few meals, help with light household chores and keeping the kitchen tidy, walking the dog (a gentle and quiet rescue greyhound) plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight. There is a lovely garden and if someone enjoyed gardening that would be wonderful.

The accommodation on offer is double bedroom furnished with twin beads, and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is located 9 miles from Perth so a car owner/driver is essential.

The person’s interests include listening to Radio 4, gardening, watching TV (nature programmes, good dramas). They ran a B&B for many years.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
