What the Opportunity entails:

A friendly Sikh older person with mobility issues is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from a little help and some company in the evenings. The person has some live-out carers, but would enjoy a chat, some cooking and general practical help around the house, plus the reassurance of having someone living with them.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished single bedroom with shared bathroom. There is shared use of the property’s other facilities including the kitchen, living room and garden. There is broadband and parking.

The property is conveniently located just a 4 minutes’ walk from the bus stop which goes into Glasgow central and takes 25 mins.

The person enjoys watching Indian films and music, socialising and gardening.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, practical, friendly and reliable female, non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
