What the Opportunity entails:

A friendly older person is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including some shopping, some cooking, light help around the house and garden, plus most importantly the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings and sleeping in the property overnight.

The accommodation on offer is a large room with its own toilet and sink overlooking the garden in a bungalow. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and has space for a desk too, so there is plenty of room for someone who is working or studying from home. They will share the shower room, kitchen and the sitting room.

The property is conveniently located 8 minutes’ walk from Hampton Station which links to Waterloo.

The person’s interests include walking and loves gardening. They also used to love baking and cooking, playing Bridge and knitting, but these activities are tricky now due to poor eyesight.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable female non-smoking ‘home bird’ who speaks clear English and who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
