What the Opportunity entails:

A friendly older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from the company and friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight. They would also appreciate some practical help such as picking up shopping, cooking a few meals each week, help with light household chores, and accompanying on occasional outings.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished single bedroom with a single bed, wardrobe and two chests of drawers and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen and sitting room.

The property is conveniently located in Horsham, just a 15-minute walk from Horsham Station and 1 mile (20 mins walk) from Horsham town centre.

The person enjoys arts and crafts and used to do a lot of knitting. They also enjoy watching BBC1 and having a friendly chat.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
