What the Opportunity entails:

 A warm and friendly older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight, and some light practical help around the house including a little shopping, cooking a few meals, and help with light household chores.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished single room and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and garden. There will also be a desk in a spare bedroom for the Sharer’s use (except when family are visiting and staying in that room).

The property is located in Hounslow, just 15 minutes’ walk (or a 5-minute bus ride) from Hounslow West underground station (Piccadilly Line Zone 5), and a 15-minute bus rise to Hounslow East and Hounslow Central. It’s also about 22 minutes to Hounslow overground station. There is parking available.

The person enjoys chatting and takes an interest in clothes. They would enjoys watching some interesting programmes on TV if someone was able to help with the TV controls!

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home. Speaking Punjabi or Hindi is important.
