Female Sharer sought for Morden, SM4
Available from: 7/3/2021
Opportunity Location:
SM4- The property overlooks the Morden underground depot and is conveniently located 7 minutes walk from Morden tube, and 3 minutes walk from Morden South overground.

What the Opportunity entails:
A friendly and interesting older gentleman with a good sense of humour, but a little frail and with mobility issues due to Cancer, is seeking a Sharer for his home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
This person would really benefit from the friendly company and reassurance of having someone around their home. A little practical help – helping with general light cleaning and tidying, very occasional cooking, and help carrying things he struggles with (such as carrying his shopping trolley up the stairs) and a little help on his allotment would also be beneficial. His current live-in Sharer is relocating due to work, but she has confirmed he is a lovely person to Homeshare with.
The accommodation on offer is a furnished single bedroom with bed, small desk, wardrobe and shelves. Shared used of the rest of the property (nb bath, only very weak shower).
The person’s interests include listening to music, walking, reading, TV, his allotment, TV documentaries and comedies. He is quite artistic and used to tap dance!
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable female non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests.
If you are interested, please email a little information about yourself, your hours of availability, if you can commit for at least 6 months, and why you are interested in, and think you may be suitable for, this share. We can then give you more details about this specific situation
