What the Opportunity entails:

An elderly person with Parkinsons’s Disease is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would value the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in overnight. They have a lot of daytime support, but would appreciate the company of someone living in their home who would also be happy to lend a light hand with picking up shopping, cooking occasional meals, helping keeping the home clean and tidy and ad hoc other practical help and errancs as may be useful.

The accommodation on offer is a spacious furnished double bedroom with own shower, and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is located just 15 minutes from Romford Station (Elizabeth Line, Overground and National Rail) so very good transport links, and very close to the centre of town.

The person used to run a guest house and is friendly and well supported. A daughter also stays there for some months of the year.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
