What the Opportunity entails:

An older person with reduced mobility and poor memory is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including some shopping, cooking a few simple meals, and help with light household chores, prompts and reminders plus importantly the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight. Please note they keep a Kosher kitchen.

The accommodation on offer is a large bedroom furnished with a single bed and wardrobe, and shared use of the shower room, kitchen and sitting room.

The property is conveniently located with good transport links, just 2 mins walk from Seven Sisters underground station (Zone 3 Victoria Line) and from South Tottenham Overground station.

The person’s interests include watching TV (films, Strictly Come Dancing, Britain’s Got Talent etc), chatting, and going on short walks (she has a wheelchair for longer distances).

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
