What the Opportunity entails:

An intelligent, educated and interesting older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight. They would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking a few meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, accompanying on some walks/outings, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is furnished double bedroom, and shared use of the bathroom (bath, no shower), kitchen and sitting room.

The property is in an excellent quiet location just 5 minutes’ walk from Hampstead underground station.

The person is very artistic and creative and enjoys reading, writing, the arts, listening to classical music and the radio, conversations about politics and current affairs, and seeing friends and family.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
