What the Opportunity entails:

A warm and friendly older lady with reduced memory is seeking a Sharer for her home to give a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her flat in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking up/unloading shopping, cooking and sharing up to four or five meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items, finding programmes on TV, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a furnished double bedroom with shared use of the walk in shower room, sitting room, kitchen and communal garden.

The property is in Bushey Heath, just 2 mins from a bus stop (buses take 10 mins to Stanmore Underground station (Jubilee Line). Silverlink Bushey Station is 10 mins drive away. There is parking if required.

The lady used to be a very good golfer and enjoys watching sport on television (golf, tennis, snooker etc). She enjoys doing crosswords, loves playing Scrabble and board games, and some card games. She enjoys watching quiz programmes on the TV and enjoys helping with cleaning and meal prep. She has friendly, supportive and involved family members living nearby.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
