What the Opportunity entails:
A couple are seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
Because the husband has memory loss, they would really benefit from someone who is able to be around on Thursday evenings and who works or studies from home Monday or Tuesday and Friday just to be around. They require very little practical help, but cooking the occasional home-cooked meal would be really appreciated.
The accommodation on offer is a pretty single bedroom with a single bed (space for under-bed storage), some cupboard space and a basin. The shower room is down a short flight of stairs, and there is also a lovely dining/sitting room for the Sharer’s use. They would share the use of the kitchen and lovely garden with the couple. (There is a large flowerbed if the Sharer wanted to grow their own herbs/vegetables; there is also a piano that the Sharer is welcome to play if they are musical).

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a young clear English speaker as the gentleman can not understand accents, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
