What the Opportunity entails:

An older person with mobility issues is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including shopping, cooking four meals each week, and help with light household chores, dog walking, IT support plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight. This person does have other help around the home including a carer.

The accommodation on offer is on the top floor of the house and comprises of a double room with a double bed and ensuite bathroom and another room which has storage, a desk and chair, a sofa and a small kitchenette furnished.

The property is located a 10 min drive to Marden train station, so a driver with own car essential

 The person’s interests include scrabble, bridge and all card games, listening to Classic music, reading the Telegraph, garden and entertaining friends and family.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
