What the Opportunity entails:
An interesting and intelligent older person with some mobility issues is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them up to 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
This person would really benefit from the reassurance of someone sleeping in the property in case of an emergency. A good cook cooking some vegetarian meals (south east Asian, spicy, curries), additional practical help would also be welcomed, such as some shopping, and helping to keep the property clean and tidy.
The accommodation on offer is a good sized furnished double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, in an immaculate apartment over-looking the River Thames in Lambeth. There is also a lovely bathroom, shared use of a modern kitchen and sitting/dining room.
The person still practices law, and in interested in current affairs and politics, spirituality, cricket, travel and world affairs. They enjoy interested conversation.
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, educated, independent non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests and would be happy to give the requested support.
