What the Opportunity entails:

A friendly and ‘with it’ older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the reassurance and friendly company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also appreciate some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking up to four meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, heavier items, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a double bedroom with a chest of drawers and ample wardrobe space, shared use of the walk-in shower room, kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The property is in an excellent location just 10 minutes’ walk from Neasden and Dollis Hill underground stations (both Jubilee line) and very close to the open space of Gladstone Park and the North Circular.

The lady enjoys the company of friends and family, watching quiz programmes in the evenings, church, her garden… and her cats. (She has two long-hairs cats who are rarely in the house as they live outdoors and in the conservatory).

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
