Available from: 18/7/2025
Opportunity Location:
Greater London, New Barnet EN5, the property is in an excellent location just 10-15 minutes’ walk from High Barnet Station (Northern Line), and 10-15 minutes’ walk from New Barnet Station (National Rail Great Northern Line, ThamesLink).

What the Opportunity entails:
A warm and friendly lady with reduced memory and mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to give a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
She is well-supported by Carers, but having previously had a lodger, she enjoys the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also appreciate some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking and sharing a few meals week, light cleaning and tidying, help with the TV, prompts and reminders, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.
The accommodation on offer is a spacious bedroom furnished with double bed, wardrobes and a chest of drawers, and shared use of the shower room, kitchen, sitting room and garden.
The property is in an excellent location just 10-15 minutes’ walk from High Barnet Station (Northern Line), and 10-15 minutes’ walk from New Barnet Station (National Rail Great Northern Line, ThamesLink).
The lady is sociable and enjoys a chat and company, gardening, watching a little TV (difficult due to poor eyesight), playing card games and Scrabble.
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
If you are interested, please fill in the Sharer Application Form and we will be in touch and can then give you more details about this specific situation.
