What the Opportunity entails:

A friendly and intelligent older person with memory problems is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person does have a full-time carer living in the home but would really benefit from some practical help around the house including some help with shopping, plus cooking supper five evening meals Monday – Friday and giving some company whilst the carer has a break. Also to help with light household chores, simple DIY such as changing light bulbs, prompts and reminders, plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight.

The accommodation on offer is a single bedroom with ample storage, and shared use of the kitchen, shower room and sitting room.

The property is conveniently located in a lovely area just 10 minutes’ walk from St John’s Wood tube station

The person’s interests include reading the newspaper and listening to Radio 4, watching all sports, politics and current affairs, crosswords, quiz programs. T

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
