Opportunity Location:
Greater London Surbiton KT6, the property is in an excellent residential location near the River Thames, close to shops and less than 8 minutes’ walk from Surbiton train station.
What the Opportunity entails:
A friendly elderly lady with reduced memory is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around her home in the evenings and sleeping in her home overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking shopping/helping to write shopping lists, cooking and sharing around four meals each week, light cleaning and tidying, prompts and reminders, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.
The accommodation on offer is a spacious double bedroom furnished with queen-size bed, desk, chair and wardrobe. There is a shared bathroom and separate shower room and shared use of the kitchen sitting room and garden.
The property is in an excellent residential location near the River Thames, close to shops and less than 8 minutes’ walk from Surbiton train station.
The lady enjoys going shopping, pottering in her garden, watching animal and nature programmes on TV, and playing the occasional game of backgammon or cards. She enjoys a chat, and has a good sense of humour, enjoying a laugh and a joke.
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
If you are interested, please fill in the Sharer Application Form and we will be in touch and can then give you more details about this specific situation.
