What the Opportunity entails:
A person in their early 30s with low-level support needs is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
This person is able to live independently but would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around their home in the evenings and overnight. They would also like some general practical help and someone who will do some tasks with them including cooking (and learning to cook some simple healthy meals), going shopping, getting into a house-cleaning routine, going on some outings (such as to watch football at the pub, or go walking or to the cinema and prompts and reminders as needed.
The accommodation on offer is a furnished single bedroom with large wardrobe chest of drawers and small desk/table and chair, own shower room , and shared use of a study, and the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The person enjoys watching the TV (news, quiz programmes, wildlife programmes, films, musicals, dramas etc) and listening to the radio; doing puzzles in the newspaper and playing boardgames; badminton; football; walking / rambling and music.
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
