What the Opportunity entails:

A warm, friendly and chatty older gentleman with memory problems is seeking two Sharers to become part of the team who support him; each Sharer will give a mix of 15 hours’ help and company in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

He has regular carers, and has had a Home Sharer for a number of years.  This gentleman really benefits from some practical help around the house including help with shopping, cooking some evening meals each week, appointment reminders, help with light household chores and running the home, accompanying on walks, plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home especially in the evenings/overnight.

There are two bedrooms available so each sharer will have their own room. The rooms on offer are furnished with double beds, a wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bathroom is shared and furnished with a bath and separate shower. The rest of the property is Shared.

The property is conveniently located less than 5 minutes walk from Belsize Park Underground (Northern Line), conveniently situated for shops and cafes/restaurants, and just 15 minutes walk from the open spaces of Hampstead Heath.

The person is an artist, and his home is covered in wonderful artwork and murals. He also enjoys going out to eat, going for walks and watching old films

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests and will be happy to chat with him and occasionally go for a walk.
