What the Opportunity entails:

A lovely and friendly older person is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person is well supported with a cleaner and gardener, but would really benefit from someone living with them to give a little practical help around the house including shopping, cooking a few vegetarian meals, ad hoc tasks, plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight.

The accommodation on offer is a choice of a single or double bedroom with own bathroom, and shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.

The person’s interests include her garden, reading the newspaper, some TV, used to love painting, people. They are currently also looking after a relative’s cat.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, gentle, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
