What the Opportunity entails:
A friendly gentleman with sight loss is seeking a Sharer for his home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
He would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around his home in the evenings and overnight. He has some help during the week, but would appreciate some general practical help around the home such as picking shopping, cooking (and sharing) a few evening/weekend meals, light cleaning and tidying, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.
The accommodation on offer is large bedroom furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables, and an en-suite bathroom. The Sharer also has shared use of the kitchen, sitting room and garden.
The property is in a lovely village location approx. 20 minutes’ drive from King’s Lynn. Due to location this would suit a car owner/driver; parking is available. He is a vegetarian and sometimes eats fish
The gentleman is easy to talk to and enjoys music and walking
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
