Available from: 29/5/2026
Opportunity Location:
Greater London, Camberwell SE5, the property is conveniently located in a residential area just 8 minutes’ walk from Denmark Hill station (National Rail, London Overground Windrush Line, many bus routes).
What the Opportunity entails:
An older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
She already has one Sharer who has been living with her for 3 years, and is now looking for a second Sharer for some additional practical support, and to make sure they are not away overnight at the same time.
The practical help will be around 10 hours of general practical help around the home including light shopping/picking up prescriptions, preparing a very simple breakfast and occasional other small meals, watering/sweeping the garden, putting out the bins, keeping an eye on the kitchen/fridge/freezer, collecting prescriptions, light laundry, helping to keep things tidy and ad hoc other help and errands as may be needed.
The accommodation on offer is a large bedroom at the top of the house, furnished with a double bed, chair, side tables and wardrobe space. There is a bathroom that is mainly for the Sharer’s use – although the householder will occasionally have a bath in it. Also shared use of the kitchen and garden.
The property is conveniently located in a residential area just 8 minutes’ walk from Denmark Hill station (National Rail, London Overground Windrush Line, many bus routes).
The lady has Carers for all her personal care needs
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
If you are interested, please fill in the Sharer Application Form and we will be in touch and can then give you more details about this specific situation.
