What the Opportunity entails:

A friendly older person with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

This person would really benefit from some practical help around the house including shopping, cooking a few English meals each week, help with light household chores, plus the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight.

The accommodation on offer is furnished double bedroom with it’s own shower room, and shared use of the kitchen sitting room and garden.

The property is located in the Thames-side village Bray, an easy bus ride into Maidenhead and close to the M4, Heathrow and Windsor. There is parking available for a car driver.

The person’s interests include reading the newspaper, watching the news, watching TV programmes including Strictly and old films, and playing card games.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the person’s interests. There is a dog, so a dog lover essential. A driver would be ideal.
