Sharer required for St John's Wood NW8 **Under Offer**
Available from: 27/6/2026
Opportunity Location:
NW8-2 minutes’ walk from St John’s Wood Station (Jubilee Line).
What the Opportunity entails:
A warm and friendly older lady is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and some company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having a Sharer living with her as she thrives on company and enjoys sharing her home. The practical help would include preparing (and sharing) a few simple meals, loading/emptying the dishwasher, taking out the rubbish/recycling, help with phone and laptop, and ad hoc other practical help and errands as might be useful. In terms of company, the lady is more of an ‘evening’ person (as opposed to a morning person), and would enjoy the company of someone to watch some TV with her in the evenings, have a friendly chat, and perhaps accompany on a few outings.
The accommodation on offer is a large furnished bedroom on the ground floor, with shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and garden. The bedroom is currently furnished with a single bed, desk, bookcases, but the family can put in a wardrobe and the bed could be exchanged for a double bed, to be discussed.
The property is in a lovely area, just 2 minutes’ walk from St John’s Wood Station (Jubilee Line).
The lady enjoys listening to the radio, for music and company. She watches television in the evenings (crime, thrillers, dramas), likes crosswords and magazine puzzles, reading, online shopping and some social media. She has pets (small dog and cats) so an animal lover is essential.
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home and looking for settled accommodation, preferably for a year or potentially longer.
If you are interested, please fill in the Sharer Application Form and we will be in touch and can then give you more details about this specific situation.
