A friendly older person with health issues is seeking a Sharer for their home to give them a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.
As well as the friendly reassurance of having someone around their home in the evenings/overnight, this person would also appreciate some practical help around the house including shopping, cooking a few meals and help with general light household chores.
The accommodation on offer is lovely bright double bedroom with large fitted wardrobe, and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and garden.
The property is located close to the River Thames, just 1.7 miles from Staines’ Elmsleigh Shopping centre, 2 miles 40 mins walk from Staines Station (trains to Waterloo), and very well-situation for the M3, M4 and M25. There is parking available. Buses close by which go to Staines Station.
The person’s main hobby is their garden. They also read and watch quiz and antique programmes on TV. They have tried many activities in the past, including learning French and Spanish. They have an elderly Yorkie dog. They worked until their late 60s.
As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be out at work/study during the day, have a clear speaking voice and a kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker, who is happy to help around the home.
