What the Opportunity entails:

An interesting, friendly and ‘with it’ older gentleman with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for his home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

He would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around his home in the evenings and overnight. He would also like some general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking an occasional meal, light cleaning and tidying, carrying heavier items/taking out bins, and ad hoc practical help and errands as may be needed.

The accommodation on offer is a spacious bedroom (there is a choice of a single or double) with armchair and shower room. There is also a kitchenette the Sharer can use if not cooking in the main kitchen. There is also a lovely garden.

The property is in an excellent residential location just 5 minutes’ walk from Highgate underground station (Northern Line).

The gentleman enjoys classical music and opera, as well as watching plays and dramas on television. He is warm, friendly and easy-to-talk-to, and used to sharing his home
