An older couple are is seeking a Sharer for their home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

The husband has reduced mobility and memory, so they would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone to give him some company (such as conversation and doing some activities together or occasional outings) plus some light practical help (such as cooking a few meals, simple tech support, helping with keeping the house clean and tidy) and ad hoc other help and errands as might arise.

The accommodation on offer is a large bedroom, furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and shelves ( the room is being decorated at the moment) and shared use of the bathroom, kitchen, sitting room and large garden.

The property is located in the historic village of Rodnell with views overlooking the downs. It’s a short drive to Lewes so this would ideally suit a car owner/driver, however there is also a bus.

The couple are interesting and friendly with a good sense of humour and a wide range of interests. They have a cat too.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, kind, helpful, trustworthy and reliable non-smoker.
