What the Opportunity entails:

A friendly, easy-going 70-year-old lady is seeking a Sharer to provide some practical help and company each week in exchange for low-cost accommodation. She is independent but would appreciate help with some of the heavier tasks around the home.

She would particularly like help between 7am and 8am Monday to Friday getting to her car, either by moving the car closer to the house or helping carry her bags. Other practical help would include unloading shopping, vacuuming and carrying the hoover upstairs, some gardening and cooking. The Sharer must have a full driving licence.

The Sharer will have their own furnished single bedroom and share the bathroom, kitchen and living areas. The house has Wi-Fi and a garden the W7 bus stop is 200 meters way, which provides a direct 10–15-minute journey to Finsbury Park Underground Station.

The Householder is easy-going and enjoys computer games and crosswords. She would welcome someone who enjoys cooking and occasionally sharing a meal. There are two cats in the home, and a Sharer with their own pet may be considered. The property is strictly non-smoking.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of support. The ideal Sharer will be friendly, kind, practical and reliable, with some availability on weekday mornings.
