The lady’s daughter wrote: “Share & Care has been a godsend to my family.  My mother aged nearly 98 now needs full time care, but until she had a fall a couple of months ago, she was able to look after herself in most respects but needed a bit of help and certainly needed company.  Share & Care provided exactly what she needed. They took a lot of trouble to find the right person to live with her. The Sharer was absolutely wonderful, and adapted to the situation very well. She had (and still has) a full time job, but was able to be at home most evenings, provide company for my mother, and  do a lot in terms of keeping my mother's diary up-to-date and reminding her about what she had planned. She got to know a lot of my mother's friends, family and neighbours and was able to remind my mother about her latest contact with them. She drove my mother's car and took her on outings, and often swimming which my mother still likes to do. She also looked after the shopping, and got to know all my mother's likes and dislikes, and cooked for her when she was in, left her breakfast and other meals ready when she was out. Altogether it has been a brilliant relationship, and I am very grateful to Share & Care for setting it up and arranging it all. They have also been in touch regularly and have been able to offer very helpful advice when there was anything I wanted to discuss.”
