Testimony for the journey with Share and Care from a Sharer November 2020

I was introduced to Share and Care by a friend two years ago. The scheme sounded interesting and at that time I was also transitioning with my career. Needed an opportunity where I can devote myself in stepping up on the career ladder. Safe place where I can save money and at the same time feel that I am contributing in doing some good for others. It turned out to be a good match when I met Hannah according to the lifestyles we have, likes and meeting both of our needs by keeping each other company.

It was a wonderful experience and I am grateful for the journey every step of the way. I learnt a lot, feel rewarded and have enriched my circle of friends.

Overcoming the obstacles on the way, made me bond with Hannah more every day and made our relationship stronger. Elderly people can teach us a lot about life and seeing things from a more wise perspective. Made me reflect on my own life and discover things about my own personality.

I recommend the scheme to everyone who wants to focus on their prospects in life, while sharing some of their free time with a person who needs support and companionship. It is truly rewarding and in some ways, even life changing for me.

I will cherish every part of it. And I am ever so thankful to the wonderful team at Share and Care, who always supported me when I most needed it.
