Amanda joined Caroline in 2012 bringing expertise on scaling up a business. Together they have raised the profile of homeshare among health care professionals and potential clients, ensuring that homeshare is now firmly on the social care agenda as a route to helping people who need support. Amanda has completed a SCIE Safeguarding Adults Course and a Mental Health Awareness course, both of which ensure high standards of care and support are offered. Amanda sat on the Board of Trustees of Shared Lives Plus charity from June 2017-2020. She is currently a regular contributor to the government’s policy advisors on how ‘innovative’ models of care, including homeshare, can be more widely used within Local Authorities.
